By using 2ndmynd, you agree to the terms below. This page is written in plain language; if anything here is unclear, contact us and we will clarify it.
What 2ndmynd is
2ndmynd offers decision support for a home repair problem, not emergency response and not an on-site diagnosis. Your report organizes evidence and ranks plausible causes; a qualified professional should confirm the exact cause and final price on site.
If this is an emergency
Do not wait for a 2ndmynd assessment. Leave an unsafe area and contact 911, the fire department, your utility emergency line, or an appropriate emergency professional.
Purchases
Your Repair Report is free; no purchase is required to receive it. The personal home repair project manager service, previously called Scheduling Concierge, is optional and costs $14.99, a one-time purchase. It is not a subscription. It includes 2ndmynd identifying matched contractors and contacting up to five contractors that you explicitly approve.
Historical customers who purchased the prior Repair Assessment ($4.99) and/or the prior standalone Scheduling Concierge add-on ($19.99) before this offer took effect remain covered by the terms in place at the time of that purchase.
Scheduling outreach
2ndmynd contacts up to five matched contractors you approve and works to secure at least three appointment options when enough appropriate contractors are available and willing to schedule. A scheduling request is not a confirmed appointment: contractor availability, response, arrival time, diagnostic fees, and price are not guaranteed by 2ndmynd. Any contractor diagnosis, service, or repair charges are separate from, and paid directly to, the contractor.
Contractor search results
Local contractor results provided with the optional project manager are informational search results, not endorsements, and not a guarantee of any contractor’s licensing, availability, workmanship, or price. You decide who to contact.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate information about your problem, and have a qualified professional confirm findings on site before relying on your report for repair decisions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continuing to use 2ndmynd after an update means you accept the revised terms.
