What 2ndmynd is
2ndmynd offers decision support for a home repair problem, not emergency response and not an on-site diagnosis. Your report organizes evidence and ranks plausible causes; a qualified professional should confirm the exact cause and final price on site.
If this is an emergency
Do not wait for a 2ndmynd assessment. Leave an unsafe area and contact 911, the fire department, your utility emergency line, or an appropriate emergency professional.
Purchases
The Repair Assessment + Nearby Contractor Search is $4.99, a one-time purchase. Scheduling assistance is a separate, optional purchase of $19.99. Neither purchase is a subscription.
Scheduling assistance
Scheduling assistance requires its own purchase and your consent for each contractor contacted. A scheduling request is not a confirmed appointment: contractor availability, response, arrival time, diagnostic fees, and price are not guaranteed by 2ndmynd.
Contractor search results
Nearby contractor results are informational search results, not endorsements, and not a guarantee of any contractor’s licensing, availability, workmanship, or price. You decide who to contact.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate information about your problem, and have a qualified professional confirm findings on site before relying on your report for repair decisions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continuing to use 2ndmynd after an update means you accept the revised terms.
